Think about it: you can work at Burger King for about $8.00 per hour to work your way through college.
You can also search the web for scholarships.
Say you spend 25 hours on the web and find a $5000 scholarship. How much did you make per hour? Answer: You made $200 per hour.
Let’s say you sent 100 hours to get that $5000 scholarship. Now how much did you make? Answer: You still made $50 per hour.
There are MANY scholarships just for Latinos and other minorities, especially women. You can earn your whole way through college on scholarships if you spend the time on the web, and at a much higher rate of income that working at a fast food place.
For all American students who’s parents, or themselves, have a low income, then they are almost 100% guaranteed to be able to get a FASFA Pell Grant from the federal government.
