Latino Youth Education Enhancement and Programs

It is the mission of Youth Discovery Inc to provide programs for Latino, Latina, and other minority youth to experience the same opportunities for a satisfying life as that given to white students in the United States. If you’ve gotten to here we hope you’ve read the description of the

Self-Discovery Class.

While it describes a solution, there will be challenges in its implementation and we hope to gain the support of a broad cross-section of Americans interested in Latino and minority youth.

Finally, the single most important factor in raising the performance of Latinos is to raise their own expectations of themselves. We have identified the

Enhancing Youth Self-Esteem 

that address the self-esteem and self -expectation of these and any youth. As much as possible these strategies should be in every program for youth. The more of them you incorporate, the more effective the program.

We believe that advanced education beyond high school is one of the major factors that will contribute to the success of Latino and minority youth. You’ll see that most of our emphasis is in providing the means for these youth to gain this education.
